Wayne S. Cole is a professor of history at the University of Maryland at College Park and author of, among others, America First: The Battle Against Intervention, 1940-1941 (1953), Charles A. Lindbergh and the Battle Against American Intervention in World War II (1974), and Roosevelt and the Isolationists (1985).
